Zaha Hadid- Was born on October 31, 1950 and died March 31 2016. She was born in Baghdad, Iraq and had both British and Iraqi citizenship. She was known as the “Queen of the Curve”, which she bought into her work. She started her career as a teacher working at Architectural Association, then moving onto some of the top Universities in the country. Her career with designing buildings started in 1991 and Hadid’s legacy continues even after her death, with the 2022 World Cup Al Wakrah stadium.
